Introduction¶
The Stage II Test Procedure Worksheets Version 2.0 template lets you complete test procedure forms, automatically calculate results, and determine pass/fail status. It also includes an integrated Facility Manager.
Starting a new report¶
Create a new Stage II document using stage2k3.dot. The document starts with a blank Stage II cover page. The following commands are available from the High Tech Forms menu. For macro settings, see Macro security.
- New Report Wizard: Create a report ready for test data and choose a facility.
- Add-A-Page: Add report pages.
- AutoCalc: Calculate and determine pass/fail status for each available page.
- Change Executive Order: Update the form with a new executive order.
- Import Old Test Data: Import a report from an older HighTechForms Stage II document.
- Print Form 101-2 Grid: Print the grid page.
- Facility Manager: Open the Facility Manager.
Integrated Facility Manager¶
Use the Facility Manager to maintain information for each facility where you perform Stage II work and to add or remove facilities.
Choose Facility Manager from the High Tech Forms menu, then use these controls:
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| New | Add a facility record and fill in its information. |
| Remove | Remove the selected facility. |
First (<<), Last (>>), Next (>), Previous (<) |
Display the corresponding record. |
| Find | Search all fields using one or more words and return the record with the most occurrences. You can search for owner names, facility ID numbers, and other information. |
| Cancel | Cancel all changes made since opening the Facility Manager. |
| Close | Save new data and close the Facility Manager. |
Using the New Report Wizard¶
- Choose New Report Wizard from the High Tech Forms menu.
- Select the facility for the report. If no facilities are available, use the option to create one with the Facility Manager.
- Select the applicable executive order.
- Select the tank type and test purpose.
- Select the forms to include in the report. The selected forms are added to the document, and AutoFill transfers header information from the Facility File to each page, including facility name and ID.
If you selected the wrong executive order, choose Change Executive Order from the High Tech Forms menu. The form updates automatically with the new order’s parameters.
Enter your test data, using the mouse to move between blanks. See also general form navigation.
After completing data entry, choose AutoCalc from the High Tech Forms menu. AutoCalc checks required information, including test dates and tester names, and prompts for missing data. It calculates and fills in Pass/Fail for each test procedure.
To add pages, choose Add-A-Page from the High Tech Forms menu and select the reports to add.
Circling answers¶
Forms 101-1a and 102-1 require circled answers. Each has a circle graphic at the top of the page. Click and drag the circle over the answer.
To make another circle, begin dragging an existing circle, press Ctrl, and keep Ctrl pressed until you drop the new circle. A plus symbol beside the cursor indicates that the circle will be copied rather than moved.
You can also select a circle, press Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V to paste a copy. Move the new circle to the answer.
